My understanding is that the longest period on Mir when humans were aboard the station was 2641 days. kosmonavtkaWell, I was thinking of the Mir Station itself being in orbit...but either way, the ISS and its crews have a long way to go yet to equal that record! NASA tends to carry on as though they're the only ones to achieve this.Robert PearlmanRosaviakosmos also made note of the 1000 day milestone -- the celebration was mutual as it was an achievement for international cooperation.
